I would plan on spending a day or more camping at the RV dealer.

There are many systems to learn , and to make sure all operate properly.

If its on board , use it!

Awnings , generator air cond, stove , microwave and hot water heater as a tiny start.

Do not drive off till EVERYTHING works !!!!

If you are not clueless a PDI should take hours depending on the complexity of the unit. You must walk away knowing how stuff works that was DEMONSTRATIVED for you.

The lists are available.

Your expectation is everything works. No need to return to the dealer, ever!

No, we will fix it after your trip.

No fixie no check. Be prepared to come back later. Not what the dealer wants.

You could hire help or bring a friend.

Check everything. Slides, Jack's, fridge and water heater on lp and electric. Stove, oven, a/c's, water pump, jacks, landing gear, microwave, tv, stereo, fans, etc. Check toilet for flushing, shower and sinks for flow. Make note of everyting that isn't right and don't take it until it is.

list.
seal check
tire check - make sure you get them to roll the trailer .5 of a wheel turn as we didn't in 2016 and found tires scrubbed off to the cords a couple miles down the road when we stopped for the night)
Cable and Satellite connections our 2018 had neither one working and friends of ours found the living area was wired to the bedroom

FW pump actually pulls water from the FW tank our 2019 didn't and it took a couple hours to trace the cause.

radio stereo works
Television if included does it work - will it pick up any free to air channels as we had one trailer in 2012 which had the antenna N/S.

slide out operations in and out.

door and compartment locks - our 2019 has 2 bad locks which the keys will not turn

sewer and gray water pulls handles free or binding
toilet - will it flush water and hold water at the seal

microwave - take a bag of microwave popcorn and pop it while there
make sure the round glass plate is present as well (our 19 was missing it)

fridge and freezer cold?

decals not peeling - yet?

AC unit

between other posters and this we should have you covered...
Happy camping

Look for....

... loose hardware. Everywhere. We had a pocket door pretty much fall off during our first camping trip in our brand new unit because someone at the factory didn't tighten the screws that hold the bracket that the door slides on. I "manufactured" a six foot long philips screwdriver to get at the screws because the only other option would have been to cut a hole in the wall. If it hadn't been for the fact that there are two doors to the master bedroom my DW would have been trapped in there for quite awhile. There were quite a few other loose screws (and a couple of plumbing fixtures) as well.
