Cold Weather use

I am looking at the Forrester MBS2401w...I go on elk hunting trips in the rockies in the mid to late fall where temps frequently get below freezing...and am concerned how weatherproof/coldproof the tanks and lines are? Any help? The online brochures etc are pretty weak about how protected they are.

I know several people who use their RVs for deer hunting in northern Minnesota. They use the grey/blackwater tanks for waste but usually have their freshwater lines winterized by that time. Usually bring along jugs of water.

I guess I would expect better if I was spending this much money...I would want full use of my water tank, shower, kithcen water etc as well as waste tanks...even if I had to add some solar panels, an inverter, extra battery, and then install light bulbs or low draw heat source to keep it all warm...afraid the Forrester has outside exposed tanks etc

You can do things to make you camper more below freezing 32F (not below 0F) tolerant. First of all you need an enclosed underbelly to begin with. It is fairly easy to keep things warm with an electrical supply by using space heaters, heat tape and tank heaters. With only batteries and propane you will limit yourself to how long your batteries will run the furnace.
