Prior to having them installed, I took the vehicle to Les Schwab to have them check the tire pressure and add air if needed. After I had tried myself. Even after they tried several different tools, they couldn't get an accurate pressure reading and had a considerable amount of trouble trying to add air. I had already read about the steel stems on these boards, and ordered them immediately.
