Food for thought

Reading the other day someone said that when ext and retracting slide you should hold the button down for 5/10 sec after it is all the way in or out. Went out to measure in my 24s sunseeker and the slide would not go out went to my local dealer he found the prob asked about what I read he said not necessarily some that is true but not all. May be worth checking out.

Found the lippert schwintec retiming video, includes hold recommendation to maintain timing. https://youtu.be/hSafAnjxIV4

Don't believe the "S" model uses the Schwintec mechanism. Believe the "hold" recommendation only applies to the Schwintec.

My understanding is that the S floor plan has the lippert flush floor slide with a single motor, unlike the schwintec slide that's used in the R and W floor plans and has two motors that require synchronization for proper function. As far as I know, holding the button in, subsequent to full extension or retraction, is only used to keep motors synchronized on the schwintec system and of no purpose with the other design.
