Forester 2401W MBS in GTS?
I'm looking at the new W floor plan in diesel, but I really want the grand touring cab style similar to the 2801. I don't need or want a large cab over. Any chance this will be an option in 2016 model?

I think there is something in prototype stage right now.
BClemons said he would post up when he can.
Not sure if it will be a wall slide but that is the assumption.

I read another post that mentioned a pro type in the Ford chassis, but it couldn't be done on the Chevy. There was no mention about the MBS. Also hoping it might be available in this next coming year. I'll hold off if that's the case. Hopefully BClemons will have some promising news! Thanks.

I hope to post a video of the W in a GTS style (Will be a 2430) shortly. It will only be available on a Ford at this time. The fiberglass work just takes way too long and we already had that done for the GTS.
We will look at a GTS style cap on the Mercedes floor plans, but again, the cap work is 6-12 months.

Nice to know the GTS for the Mercedes will be looked at. I really only want the sprinter diesel. I will hold another year. Thankfully there is an Oregon dealer, not too terribly far, who rents the Solera 24R. I can use them for the trips I have planned this year. Plus a great chance to really check out the FR 24 series!

Wow... Really like the W on the Ford chassis. Havent seen a W in any of the New England dealers any chance of letting us know if any one has one on their lot?

Thanks.
Seems longer and wider than I expected.
The MBS box width is 94- this shows 97 total width.
Is that total with the awning?
I expected a similar length to the MBS since the Ford cab is shorter.
I do like the long wheelbase and the 450 chassis though.
Not sure if I can fit it in my RV pad though.
Will need some exact measurements.
Will wait for the vid.
We are looking at July to order one of these or the MBS.
Now we may have a choice.

It's only 10" longer than the Sprinter version. We needed that to get past the wheel wells. True width should only be 1" wider.
MBS actually shows 94.5".

Available to order now. The first few have shipped. The bulk of the orders won't be shipping for another 30 days or so.

How is it different from W? I don't see the floorplan on the FR website.

I did a video walk through of the 2401W. Same floor plan, just on a Ford.

We gave our local Camping World salesman a copy of the flyer this afternoon. Since it isn't on the FR website, and this store doesn't normally carry the Forester line up, I suspect this may get "interesting"... So a couple of questions to help move this along:
1. Are there any other models numbers, series numbers, or anything else he will need?
2. What options are available? The same ones as other Ford chassis Foresters?
Thanks!

1. Nope. It's a 2431 Forester GTS
2. Correct. Just no cab over bed available. Other than that same features as Foresters on a Ford.

What is difference between build quality between Solera and Forester MBS?
What is difference between build quality between View/Navion from Winnie and Forester MBS?
Other than price, why would I buy a Forester MBS over a View/Navion?
