Also found at an RV place here a dual valve to install on unit tank that will allow access to both an extra tank for unit and a hose for BBQ.
Last new years eve we were at the new Kapka snow park and it was 12 below zero. We ran the Champion invertor generator all night with two 60 watt bulbs in the pump and tank area, and never froze up. Kept the furnace going all night as well.

Do you have a photo of how you placed the bulbs?

Sorry no. The coach is under a cover with 2 feet of snow on top. I will get you a picture when we get a break in the snow so we can take the coach on a snowmobile trip.

I just hung a drop light inside the door where the pump is and it worked fine. Used a REAL 75 watt incandescent one and it works great.

I used two residential light bulb bases mounted close to the water tank and pump. I have a heat lamp in one and a 60 watt bulb in the other. Just be sure the bulbs don't touch anything. I also put a thermometer probe in there so I can remotely monitor the temp with out having to lift the bed.

We were in NM this last month. Temps down in the single digits. Instead of using the plumbing, we kept 6-8 gallons of water in jugs in the shower. Used RV antifreeze to flush the toilet. Worked well. Made us really think about our water usage.

Thank goodness we won't be switching to C. Besides, it just feels warmer at 32 than 0.
