Hook BBQ to Prism Onboard Tank

I would like to hook up a portable grill to run off the RV propane tank.

A Weber Q would need to be converted from using 16 oz bottles,

A Nexgrill would need to be converted from using a 20# propane bottle.

I am leaning toward the Nexgrill.

What is the best way to tap into the big tank on the Prism?

Buy an "Extend A Stay" inline tee. Costs $35 to $50+, depending on where purchased.
There are two taps on the tee and mine came with two hoses: one hose fits the BBQ grille (I bought a Coleman) and the other hose can be used to connect an auxilliary gas bottle to your system so you can "extend a stay".
You have to remove the hose(s) from the tee when not hooked up to the grille or spare LP tank, but the tee remains in line.

I did same on my 16 24R. I have a cuisinart. I put a shut off valve right before the grill. Works great and I ran hose under coach amd store unit in storage to left of entrance door. This way it sets up on its stand under awning. Next time I have it out I will take a picture.

Here is a link that might help. Propane Gear - Heaters, stoves, torches and all of the hoses and regulators to connect them.

If you already have low pressure quick connects on your camper, Torjik makes a great kit for the Weber Q.

Ditch the little bottles- upgrade your Weber Q | Learn To RV
