Hydraulic Jack and Tools
Here is what is in the tool compartment in the floor in front of the passenger seat. It's under a panel that can be removed by hand. (There is nothing under the floor area secured by the screwed-down plastic cover.)
The items include the jack, jack handle, lug nut wrench and cross-handle, a combination straight, Phillips head and two sizes star screwdriver, two sizes of an open-end wrench, and a very solid screw-in towing point.

Jack and tools
Thanks for posting this. I was wondering if the unit came with a jack and now I know. I hope this comes with every Sprinter chassis. I will be taking delivery of a 2401W shortly, and don't want to carry extra jacks if I don't have to.

Hope like heck I never have to use it! Changing a tire, if it could be done, including getting the spare out, would be a multi-hour project and a very dirty project to boot.

I doubt most of us could even get the lug nuts off with standard tools.
An inside dual flat would be enough for me to sit and wait for a tire service truck to make the trip.

Agreed, although the breaker bar is perhaps 2' long. Only for use when out of wrecker range, or cell phone range! I have paid plenty for service coverage.

Not a problem changing tires. Rear hydraulic stabilizer (and 3ft 4x4) raises rears high enough and the front end is like a light truck. It takes a 19mm socket. I carry an electric impact wrench. Already pulled front and backs on one side just for practice. Haven't had too many tire problems on any of my previous motor homes though.

Hydraulic Jack and Tools
I have owned a motorhome since 2006 and have had one blowout of an inside dually, one time when the outside rubber came off a rear tire, and one time when, after installing valve stems, the air came out of one of the rear tires. Having the security of a jack and tools is good. I will carry an electric impact wrench though.

I always carry a small 5 gallon air compressor in the rig and have impact wrench for it. Had to use the compressor one time when I discovered that the stem extenders were leaking and I had a flat rear dually. I always make sure to have my road service up to date just in case.

Good info on carrying a small compressor and impact wrench. I'll have to get one. I don't know what they look like yet. I'm a solo female traveler and travel thru Mohave desert frequently, far from any services. I'm quickly learning that I need to carry ALOT of tools with me. These RV's are full of surprises!

They are full of surprises! Especially when the weather is hot, your tires are over 6 years old, and you are carrying more than you should!

My compartment also came with a half pint of complimentary sawdust. I don't believe sawdust is normally measure in pints but I'm not a carpenter.
