Install Sirius tuner & antenna?
After talking with Sirius tech support I just ordered the Sirius SXV300 Connect Vehicle Tuner kit. Supposedly the tuner installs up under the dash & connects to the existing Jensen VX7020A unit, and the antenna has adequate cable length to snake thru to the dash (& maybe up to the entertainment center cabinet?).
Has anyone done this install already? Tips? Advise? Pictures?!?
Thanx in advance!

Yea, I did it but opted to have a professional install it. I don't remember exactly how much it cost, but it was well worth it and was reasonable. Of course, I didn't go to the RV dealer, but found a shop that specialized in this sort of thing. It didn't cost much. He put the antenna on top of my Leprechaun, routing the thin wire antenna out the vent over the bunk. No leaks, very hard to see the wire, and excellent reception.

Have you tried turning to Channel 1 and seeing if it was there....or checking the room to see if it got sealed over?

Install Sirius Tuner & Antenna?
Yes, I did try the system with the preview channel; got error message telling me to check the antenna. Staff at CW Mesa told me the system didn't come with tuner/antenna pre-installed. Confirmed with the Jensen tech rep.

Big mistake IMHO. Send it back and get a portable unit. One you can move from place to place. That way you can have sat radio anywhere.

Here's another idea, though probably not applicable for a full or near-fulltimer. With my ability to connect my smartphone or iPad to the Jensen via Bluetooth I stream Pandora (paid version allows one to create playlists based on favorite artists), iHeart, NPR, many of my favorite radio stations that stream and even my huge personal music collection via Amazon Prime.
Yes, cell will drop occasionally but then so does the Sirius in my car when driving through mountains. I've found a full day of streaming uses less than a gig of data; which is less expensive the the annual charge for Sirius plus the equipment.
Just another idea.

That's what we do
Stream off our I phones Amazon prime. Crystal clear. Lucky we are grandfathered in for unlimited data

I have Sirisus portables in my truck and car. Since we like listening to it while driving in the truck, I pull the one out of the car. I had an extra antenna laying around and keep it in the TT. No extra billing or worrying how many gigs we are using. We use enough just with out computers. When we get rid of one vechile we don't pay the extra money (big bucks imho) having it pre-installed on a new rig.

I agree with others. I bought two car docking stations. My unit has two separate radios one for the cab and one for the coach. I put one docking station in the cab the other in the coach. I hard wired each docking station to aux input of each radio. Works like a dream.

Our 2401R had the tuner pre-installed. I found it under the glove box on the passenger side, towards the center console.

Yes i also have the tuner. But its only cab radio not coach radio. This way I can switch it out to coach with only subscription
