keyless entry
Has anyone installed a keyless entry on their MH? And what do you think of it? Likes/dislikes.

I have put the Rv lock on my last 2 units.
I put two on my fifth, and did the mh this summer.
Works like a charm.
Took a bit of adjusting to get it to lock without pushing in on the door, but works great now.

Those look like trailer locks. Go to the menu and make sure you choose Class A/C MH under products.

The 'RV Lock' does not work on FR Class C
We have a 2015 Solera 24R. I purchased the RVLock and it does not fit, so don't waste your time. It mounts about 1.5" too close to the door frame - which then interferes with the screen door. You would have to take a large portion of the screen frame out to get it to work.
In addition, if you have the optional custom paint on your RV, the outside of the lock will not cover the entire area that was covered by the factory lock.
I returned it and purchased the 'Bauer Alsentis' lock. It is not as elegant as the "RVLock", but does the job, and covers the outside paint except for maybe a 'sliver' of white is visible.
I understand RVLock is working on a modification to the lock so it works with our type trailers, but it still won't cover the paintjob because of its rounded shape.
Hope that helps !

I purchased, Installed, attempted to program, talked to support, programmed, pulled batteries, attempted to reprogram, removed, and returned the the following unit.
AP Products 013-531 Electric Motor Home Lock
First off If you can find a keyless entry unit that locks both the door latch and the dead bolt, let me know and I will give keyless entry another try just as long as programming is easy and if it uses sounds to indicating the programming is in progress, that they can be heard.
During my research on a keyless entry unit for our MBS Sunseeker 2400WS this spring, the only unit I was able to find that fit the AP Products RV latch cutout, was the one listed above. (AP Products and Bower are the same unit). This unit ONLY locks the "Dead bold" the door latch itself never locks.
IMHO, the unit is hard to program ( not all units are programmed the same way PER Support). It was necessary for them to walk me through several different ways in order to program the lock, which will be necessary each and every time you disconnect the internal batteries. It also requires very good hearing or a real quiet work area so that the faint "beeps" can be heard indicating it is time to go to the next programming step.
If you have good hearing, are willing to reprogram the lock every time a battery is changed, and are happy with only the deadbolt locking, give it a go. If not, pass on it, have a spare sets of keys made and store them in one of those push button locking key holders.
Hope this is of some help.

RVLock. Installation was a breeze and we had no problem programming it, etc. Just be VERY careful, when installing it to make sure you don't pinch one of the tiny wires. Yep, I did it. Thankfully, I have some small outdoor connectors and could repair the wire.
We do need to replace the small battery in the separate keypad about every two months. We do use it quite a bit. We have yet to need to replace the batteries in the lock portion in the four months we've had it.

RVlock, great on my TT. I had to use a file to remove about 1/8 inch around the door.
I love it, never worry about keys now.

OK sound like trailers have no problem with RV lock but what about Motorhomes? Sounds like there might be a problem depending on the type of unit. Further study and input is needed.

Call them up and ask. They are very easy to work with and won't try to pull a fast one and sell you something you ultimately can't use.
