Mercedes Speedometer

Would it not be logical to assume that a fine piece of German engineering such as my Sprinter would have a speedometer with both mph and kph displayed on the same dial?

We are driving across the Trans Canada highway using a cell phone app to display our speed in kilometers.

Even my Enclave shows both and come to think of it almost all of my previous cars for the last several years have shown both scales.

Just finished 2 months in Canada. Pretty easy. Speed seems to always be divisible by 10. So ignore the 0 and multiply by 6. Not exact but close enough.

Look in your manual. My 2016 Prism has an option on the gauge cluster to display speed on the digital readout instead of outside temp. Just set it for kph.

I donít see that setting change on our 2016 Sunseeker.
We used the car GPS set to display kilometers to watch our speed.
I get what the OP is saying. Itís annoying. Iíve never had a car that didnít have km on speedometer and Iíve never had any fancy car.
