Mercedes Sprinter Transmission

OK, I am confused. I have scoured probably all links that come up for the MBS 2400R and some 2015 models are advertised as having a 5 speed transmission and others say 7 speed. Can someone in the know clear this up for me? It will be several weeks before I get my hands on the one I ordered (likely with a 2015 chassis), but in the meantime I am curious.

We just ordered a Sunseeker MBS 2400W. The 3.0L V-6 comes with the five speed automatic transmission. The seven speed transmission is currently only available from M-B with the four cylinder engine. That combo is not offered by FR.

^^What he said^^^ absolutely correct. 7 speed only on 4 cylinder...that we think is too underpowered for a full size RV. On a van that is probably a nice combo.
