Mouse intrusion

I have (I think) finally found the last mouse hole into my rig. I have plugged 4 medium to large sized holes in the rear or our 24R underside. But I continued to have occasional mice. I would always leave traps and the traps at the front near the door were the only ones that got anything.

I had been under the rig before looking for holes, and going at night with a powe5 halogen work light underneath and looking inside for light. But couldn't find anything.

Finally, I looked near the front! Where the traps were getting mice... Next to the entry door is the wall with the ladder attached. There is a plastic moulding at the side, and when I put light beneath and moved the moulding, voila! Mouse expressway.

Spray pestblock...I hope I'm done.

The photos show the moulding, then in the dark, the light shines up through the hole, and finally the worklight beneath the rig.

Good luck I don't think there is such a thing as a mouse proof RV but it sounds like you are getting close. My problem was the underbelly and small holes thru the frame rails.
