New AGM Batteries on Coach

We have a 2015 Solera which I just installed 2 new Lifeline AGM 27ís. After charging Iím getting 14.0 on the cigarette lighter mini volt meter. The place I bought the batteries said I could discharge safely to 30% before recharging. Does anyone know what this is in volts? Iíve heard never let them go lower than 10.5 volts. Thanks in advance.

A 14v reading on a just charged batt is just a surface charge and is of no concern.

Using voltage to judge the depth of discharge is very inaccurate.

To take good care of the house batts a SOC , State Of Charge meter should be installed.

This is an accurate measure like a gas gauge , that will tell the depth of charge and discharge .

Most folks will only drop to 50% discharged as it allows many more charge /discharge cycles before the batts die.

Bogart works well , there are other brands.
