I started a thread about the sub in the "W"....check out the pictures which will show what it looks like if you access it from the outside storage compartment:

Took a look at your pictures. Your sub woofer is fed using A/V cables which means you have the "adjustable line output converter" in the cabinet behind the JWM6a. This unit converts the channel "C" speaker output to a audio signal that can be used by a powered amp style sub woofer. The A/V cables for the Sub woofer terminate at the "adjustable line output converter".

I do not have the "adjustable line output converter" in my MBS2400WS and thus do not have a sub woofer. Is it supposed to be there? That's anyone's guess and since it isn't, I rather doubt that Forest River will ever admit that they forgot to install it. Unless of course a MBS2400W owner happens to post to this forum letting us know that they indeed have one and where it is located.

That hasn't happened yet.

I have wasted enough time on this subject. I will keep an eye out just in case a MBS2400W owner happens to make a posting stating that they indeed have a sub woofer. If that happens, i will seek guidence as to its location, the location of the "adjustable line output converter" and how it is wired.

LaterZ and HAPPY CAMPING

It must be my imagination but I certainly thought there was a comment from either Brian or Josh in which they mentioned possibly removing the sub woofer moving forward. Nevertheless I've scoured the forums and can't find anything. It does appear that the presence of a sub-woofer is not unique to a Forester over a Sunseeker though.

Thanks for all the responses regarding the sub-woofer. I will go on record that my 2017 SunSeeker MBS 2400W does not have a Sub-woofer. All possible places have been searched. When I hear that other 2017's have them, I will rattle the dealer's cage.

This post is not the same model but looks like FR may have cut the subwoofer.

New 2400W buyer

We were scheduled to take delivery of a new Sunseeker 2400W MBS last Saturday in Dayton, Oh. About an hour into the delivery, I noticed the wall rails were made of app 3/4" aluminum mounted by 4 screws to the outside edge of the wall. Others I had seen had rails secured all the way down the wall. I was apprehensive and the tech was also, having looked at the way the rails torqued in opposite direction from top to bottom. When I asked the senior owner about this, he went off like cheap fireworks. My wife got mad and we drove off with our refund. I don't want to turn away from this model and would like others opinion on this. Looking to do extended summers in Canada and want piece of mind while we are there. Appreciate all the info I'm picking up from this forum. I believe the MBS will be the new work horse.

Sorry, although we own a 2401R, I don't think we have visibility to the inside of walls or mounting rails. Perhaps if you can describe where and what you are looking at? Does this involve the main frame or sliders?

Its a "power gear" slideout, I guess it was recently bought from Lippert. I personally like the mechanism better then the orig Lippert one (which I had in my previous MH, a Solera 24R) and so far it works perfect. It looks more sturdy and easier to service especially in case of a malfunction.
And I love this coach and floorplan!

Speaking of the rails on the outside of the wall slide that moves it in and out.
