No signal from outside tv coaxial cable

Does anyone have this no signal problem from cable hookup? Antenna works fine. It's picking up a few channels in camp ground but cable is always no signal. Any ideas where to start? I'm thinking it may disconnect some where between outside wall and tv?

Thanks

Did you turn off the antenna booster button? Can't get cable with it on.
#1 cause of no cable signal.

Find the splitter by tracing it back from main tv. Make sure wires are connected and tight. You might need to pull the outside connection to check it too.

I assume you set the TV for cable and did a cable channel scan?

Why not have them check and troubleshoot while there?

I think I remember seeing a splitter under the sink at the wall where the outside
Cable hookup is. The splitter goes to the outside connection and back to the
Bedroom television....I think

If it still is under warranty, have the shop fix it.

X2- no signal when switching from OTA to cable without performing this procedure.

Make sure you have the cable hooked to the correct input. My Windjammer has two outside coax connections: one for the cable and a separate one for satellite. And yes, it does make a difference which one you use.

I had the same issue. After much tinkering I got a coax continuity tester and narrowed the problem down to the connector on the outside of the trailer. The problem was sloppy installation of the coax end at the receptical. I reworked the connection and it solved the problem.

Another possibility that hasn't been mentioned is, FR installed some TVs that didn't have cable tuner capabilities. Don't remember the make of TV for sure, but could have been Seiki.

I think my problem is similar to stormrider151. My MBS has been at dealer for over a week and don't want to add anymore issues to it. Warranties works have to be okay by FR and take a long times to approve, but I will them for some ideas when I pick it up. I'm having about 11 minor fixes like bedroom frame slide busted on one side. To me I don't think they are not to happy to do warranties works any ways.
