That entertainment center has one less cupboard than our 2016 unit, because of the additional Jensen unit (apparently) on the driver's side. In our unit, that is another full cupboard.

Since Zamp has been mentioned a couple of times in this thread, I wonder if people who are adding solar panels to their MBS units have actually weighed their units? I just weighed ours and we will be lucky to meet the GVWR once we fully provision it with clothing, hiking gear, food, beverages, passengers, pet, and 75' of additional 30A wire we need for Canadian campgrounds. The weight includes all fuel and LPG, but no water or anything in the holding tanks. Folks may want to hit a nearby CATS scale to see where you are at. Based on our result, I would say the empty vehicle weight was probably more than advertised and the cargo carrying capacity (CCC) was less than advertised. Our CCC is supposed to be 1178. I sincerely doubt we have already put 650# of gear in there but we only have 530 left to go. I now wish I had weighed it empty, and may do that next time it is empty!

Thanks
Our 2016 includes front and rear gutter spouts on both sides and they are painted to match as I recall. Very good features. The only downsides I see are the front driver's side drains out at the driver's door - look out when exiting (I suppose the passenger side does the same but haven't noticed it yet) - and the rear passenger's side essentially drains the water out and down the rear strut of the awning mechanism. Apart from dirt and staining, I tend to believe this will cause a problem down the road, possibly rusting or paint deterioration. I may try to figure out how to add a 1-2" extension lip onto that drain.

I'd double check that as the new brochure still lists the 9.8 gallon tank. There has been a lot of discussion here about needing a bigger tank for boon docking. But FR has consistently said they are limited by weight constraints in the MBS. The only MBS variant that I know has a larger tank is the Isata 3. I think the Coachman's also have a larger tank but I'm not positive on that one...

I hope it has the larger tank (16.8gal). It was one reason we ordered it. The small tank was a major hang up for us since most of our camping is boon docking.

Smile Hey Josh! LP Tank Size Question...

Let's ask the man who will know! Josh is a FR Class C factory rep...

Josh,

Are they putting a bigger LP tank in the MBS now? And how about the other Foresters / Sunseekers?

Is this a yes or no on the larger LP tank?

We got ours about a month ago and it does have a larger LP tank. I believe it is 16.8Gal.

Every Forester and Sunseeker model in the latest brochures is 9.8. 16.8 would be really heavy!

the tank is 16.8gal but I think the actual LP capacity is like 13.3. I will try to remember to take a pic of it when I get home. They also did away with the metal awning cover.

16.8 Gallons of propane is what it will truly hold.

We've made some changes to accommodate the weight of the new 16.8 gallon propane tank.

here is a pic of the tank label. Sorry for the confusion in my earlier post. Not sure where I came up with those numbers.

According to Onan RV QG3600 LP - 3.6kW RV Generator (LP)

burns .6 Gal/Hr @ 1/2 Load

So that would mean about 16.6 gal / .6 gal/hr = 27 hours at 1/2 load

How many watts does the a/c pull?

Ceiling

I'm curious as to why the soft ceiling went away? Considering all the competition has it won't that be counter productive and negatively affect curb appeal?
