OBDII for MBS

Yes, I read the previous post on this in the MBS area. The info was posted in 2017, so I was wondering if there is a newer scanner that does more or does better?

I have the latest iCarsoft MBII scanner. It reads the majority of the systems including wheel sensors, regeneration cycles, brake reset and much more.

It is MB and Smart car specific; other manufactures can't be added.

The latest firmware update provides many more capabilities.

It also performs the normal OBDII functions.

It meets my needs quite well. Cost approx. $150.00.
If interested I would contact the company to ensure it will cover you model year.

Thanks! I went to their website and the Sprinter is specifically listed. I still sent them an email with my specific info and asked if it was good to go. Also asked a few other questions on capabilities of the model you mentioned as well as another model.

I would also update the firmware as soon as I got it. might be up to date, but you never know.

I received a reply from iSoft and they say the Forest River is not covered.

So they're no longer supporting Sprinters? Or just the latest model year? (I wouldn't expect them to know, or care, about Forest River ...)

Did you specify "MB Sprinter" in your message. My iCarsoft MBII has a specific section for Sprinters. It might not have your model year, but it definitely has the MB Sprinter diesel

Their tech support continues to argue that what I have is NOT a Mercedes Benz! Waiting to hear back on my latest rebuttal.

It is a MB Sprinter 3500 van chassis period.

OBDII for MBS

Start a fresh inquiry and just ask about the MBS 3500 and donít say one word about FR or RV. Or better yet save your time since the cited unit is designed to handle MBS.
