Hear that MB dealers recommends changing oil at least annually. Here is the straight scoop from The MB Sprinter (2013) maintenance documents.

Yeah, I can confirm the 2 year interval. First, I called MB after a bit more than a year and the rep said (more or less) "Don't change it until the computer tells you to." And then, a few days ago, with about 9,000 miles and 2 years on my Solera, the computer began counting down the days. I changed the oil, reset the computer and now, I guess, I'm good for another 15,000 or 2 years.

Dave

PS: I had an oil analysis done a few months and not too many miles ago. The analysis showed the oil was fine at the time.

Ok, so I have about 15 months and 15,700 miles on our Solera 24W. Should I wait to see the light? Just wondering. Thanks...

I've always followed the light / gauge on my recent vehicles. But I heard / believe they say OR at least once a year.

I changed mine yesterday with 5000 miles on it. I bought it new in January and it was shipped to the dealer in December. The chassis was built in April 2015. Who knows how many times it was started and stopped before it was warmed up. The filter looks like it may be spent by the way the pleats look. I'm glad I changed it. I'll be changing oil and filter once a year regardless of mileage unless it goes over 15k. I check the oil every time I fill up. Never has used any. The book says it will.

I have a 3.0L MB engine in an 07 Grand Cherokee.
I cannot disagree - maybe I do the same after warranty expires but NOT before!
