Recliners

Does anyone know where or how to purchase the new recliners that are a option on the new 24R units. Would love to put them in my unit in place of the sofa.

Are you sure those are available for the MBS units? The Sunseeker features page here:
Sunseeker Motorhomes by Forest River RV
Indicates that the recliners are not available for MBS.

The price list on the RV Direct website shows it as an option for the 2400R. I don't know if you can order it to be added to an existing unit. You might check with your dealer or Forest River parts.

You can call parts or go to your dealer. They will be able to help.

It's available as an option for the 2401R only (in the Forester MBS line).

Forester Motorhomes by Forest River RV

Also it's available as an option only on the Sunseeker 2400R in the Sunseeker MBS line:

http://www.forestriverinc.com/produc...elID=1141#Main

bclemens - note, the feature list omits the 2401R for the recliners option. Not sure on the Sunseekers feature list.

The 24R and the 2400/01R are the same floor plans.

Don't disagree. I was just noting that the feature list in the brochure under recliners does not indicate it's an option for the 2401R. It does show on the 2401R floor plan.

Any one know what the recliners run price wise. I was on RVDirect where they listed for around $700, but am wondering if that's the real cost? I tried contacting my dealer about them but haven't heard back from them. So may try one of the local RV dealer as I have gotten things through them before.

Recliners

Has anyone been able to get recliners for their MH? I've tried a couple of local dealers about it and have not been able to get an answer from them. Is there a way to order from the factory? I've looked at the web sites for Forest River and RV one and have not been able to locate a parts or service department to ask about ordering. Can any one help out here. Thanks

End the trail

Well I finally heard back from my local dealer about the recliners. After checking with FR he was told that the recliners will not fit in a Solera. Was not told why but that they won't work. So have to look into another solution. OH WELL.

I just put two Lazy boy wall huggers in my trailer in place of my sofa. I was sweating it out whether or not they would fit. They are not huge but very comfortable. They don't swivel or rock but fit just fine. They are the Pinnacle chairs.

How much space did you have to work with? The Solera only has 68" of space so have to be careful about how big the recliners are. Also been looking into theater seating recliners.

87 x 42 with lots of room left over. I just put together a table to put between them. The dimensions are on their web site.
