Rich - did you have to jack up the front end to put the front sumo's on ? If so, how much do you have to lift it, and did you do one side at a time, or jacked both up and used jackstands ? Thanks !

You will need to jack up one side at a time about 2 inches with the jack under passenger . Can access from in front of tires. Make sure vehicle safe to work. Wheels were not off ground as I recall.

Thanks Rich ! This will be suspension component #4 that I am installing.
1. Helwig Antisway
2. Rear Sumo Springs
3. Rear Bilsteins
4. Front Sumo Springs

I'm hoping that all 4 will make a big difference. The last time I drove it I had only installed the Helwig.

Difference night and day
Helwig helped a lot but other 3
Upgrades made a bigger difference
Especially for crosswinds.

Thanks for asking the question cfritt ... We're about to go meet our new 2017 Forester MBS 2401W tomorrow, so everyone's responses have been so informative! Will plan to add all of these to our rig right from the get-go! Any other advice?

I would say in getting the kinks worked out, I.e. Warranty work keep communicating with the place you take it and contact the Forest River service rep for Forester as they have answers to issues that may speed up getting it solved. I encouraged our service departments to call Russ for answers.

Just saw this thread
Already have the Hellwig.
Just a couple questions:
I see the Sumo rear spring described as a "solo", so you keep your existing springs and install one single Sumo as an "overload" or "helper" spring, correct?
I assume I need 2 front springs, so are they sold as a set?
Does anyone have the part #(s) or link for the front springs?
Thanks!

Here's a writeup I posted a while ago:
Hellwig 7254 Rear Sway Bar
It lists the various Sumo Springs options and includes links to the manufacturer's web site for each product.

Each of these products is installed in addition to your existing springs and each is sold as a set of 2.
