Replacement 2017 Forest River Sunseeker 2400WS Ladder

I need a new replacement adder (don't ask why!). Anyone know who Forest River uses? I can't find any tags on the OEM ladder... Also what kind of sealant should be used to mount the ladder?

I dented the ladder on my 84 Coach. Backed into a light pole that I could not see in either mirror.

Now that I have a 17 Forester 2401WS I am considering a telescoping ladder to get on to the roof since I find it difficult to use the attached ladder. I find it uncomfortable climbing straight up but it's ok on an extension ladder.

Call a dealer or a salvage company. Here is info on the largest RV salvage company in the US. I have used them many times.

Stromberg Carlson and Surco have ladders and repair items on Amazon. Search them out. Just purchased 2 replacement cut-to-length ladder standoffs from Amazon.
As far as sealant, I will use the Geocell Proflex rv sealant for the vertical and for the top, I would use a self leveling sealant around the ladder anchors. Either Dicor or Sikaflex self leveling sealants.

Salvage yard for ladder

I was also going to recommend a Salvage yard for ladder parts or complete units at reasonable prices. We have one located in Montpelier, IN that we used for many parts including new side mirror heads.

Another suggestion I would make is to strengthen the mounting hardware that attaches the ladder to the rear bulkhead. I used 1/4-20 threaded rod to go thru the entire standoff including the flimsy nutplates in the individual rods and then used lock nuts on both sides of mtg. plate that attaches to bulkhead. Also used self-locking nut on end of threaded rod that sticks out beyond the ladder.
When finished/installed grabbing the ladder and pushing and pulling moves entire MH it is so sturdy.
IMHO

Have safe travels
