Sirius Radio connection???

Do not know what this connection is for. It is on the driver side of the windshield, assumed it was a Sirius radio connection but not sure. Does anyone know what it connects to? Tried to get beer out of it but must be doing something wrong

That's an odd looking beer tap - but wouldn't that be nice! Sirius/XM connection? I dunno...

I can't really tell from the picture, but is that the microphone for your phone? In mine, the radio has an Bluetooth connection for hands free operation of my cell phone.

If it is an RCA connector it might be from the original radio antenna that was removed from the cab roof.

That is the microphone for your in dash radio ( looks like a Pioneer). it is what is used when you are using your Bluetooth connected phone for hands free calls.

Bluetooth microphone.

Sirius XM antenna is on the roof, GPS antenna (if you have one) should be on right side of dash.

Can't really interpret much from the photograph, although it does appear it might be a 3.5mm female audio connector. It might be useful to know what the end of the connector looks like. However, if it is located at the interior top-center of the windshield, then it is likely a radio (AM/FM) antenna connector. The Sirius(xm) antenna normally works best outside, on top of your vehicle, so it is unlikely to be located as shown in the photograph (... but I am quickly learning that such logic doesn't always apply to RVs).
1. Google something like "Sirius antenna connector" or "Sirius extension" might produce images similar to your connector. Or search "upper windshield antenna connector types" might give you other images to help identify it.
2. A simple, empirical test might also be useful: does your radio currently receive various AM/FM stations? If not, then that connector might be for that purpose. If your radio works normally, then such idea can probably be ruled out.
3. If this is a 3.5 mm female audio connector (Google that for pictures), then it is likely the microphone connector for your Bluetooth-connected phone as others suggested.
Wish I could be more helpful. I think other folks already posted all of the various possibilities. Good Luck!

I didn't get the Beer-Tap option with my motorhome, but added an after-market keg between the passenger and driver's seat and connected “camelback” straws … makes a great little side table too. I keep a chilled mug handy in case I get pulled over … you-know … nothing more friendly than greeting the highway patrol officer with a freshly filled chilled foam-topped mug! … a theory not yet tested ...

THANKS!!

Thanks folks for the help! I will pair my phone with the radio when I get the motor home out of storage in a couple of weeks and give it a try. I'll look other places in the W for that elusive beer tap. Wish me luck.

It's the hands free mic for your phone like everyone else said.
