Slight clunk in steering when turning left

There is something just a little loose in my steering mechanism. There is a very slight clunk when I turn the wheel left, never right. And it doesn't unclunk when I turn the wheel back to center. I can hear it. It is just palpable on the wheel. It also seems to be associated with unloading the suspension, like after you've gone over a bump. And it's not every time.

Any ideas. Ball joint? L or R side?

Thanks.
