Sprinter Oil Leak

I noticed a few drops of oil hanging underneath my rig when I changed the oil a couple of weeks ago. It was in the area between the engine and transmission. I mentioned it to the service advisor when I was in getting the air bag recall taken care of. Apparently there is a common problem with a leak from the top of the engine in the 'valley' between the heads and it leaks down the back of the engine. I have an appointment later this week for them to tear into it, so I guess I'll know more later and report back then. Has anyone else had this oil leak? I only have 5300 miles on it. It's covered by the warranty supposedly.

Update on the leak. I took it in this morning prepared to leave it for several days. The suspected oil leak in the 'valley' is a gasket on the oil cooler. Apparently they are on version 4 of this particular gasket. However, I got a call late this afternoon and the actual problem was a bad oil cooler fitting at the transmission. An easy fix and the rig is done already! The second one they had seen, both on motorhomes.
