SRS and Restraint Error with airbag light on
We just got a new Dynamax 3 I saw the airbag light on and thought it was just that the passenger side air bag was off. I able to do that with my F350. Well that's not it and you can't reset it. Ive done some research and found this can happen if they dont but a resistor on the middle seat restraint system wiring plug. has anyone had this issue. Ive the issue since driving it off the lot

You will probably get more answers if you posted this in the Dynamax subfolder, versus the MBS Sprinter folder.

If it’s a Dynamax Isata 3, it’s an MBS chassis and the question belongs here. If it’s a DX3, it’s not.

If it’s new, warranty issue. If a Sprinter, take it to a Mercedes or a Freightliner dealer that services Sprinters.

I had the exact same thing on my 2016 Isata3 I bought new. I thought, heck its under warranty so I just took it to a Mercedes Dealer. They fixed it and billed me $160 because Dynamax hade left the connector to the seat disconnected when they did their swivel seat mods. I notified Dynamax and they were very nice and paid me back for the cost. So just check the connector under the driver seat.
Also I would suggest checking all the wiring under the seat. I found that it was rubbing and too short when the Drivers Seat was swiveled around facing back. I lengthened it and put teflon spiral wrap on all the seat wiring to prevent any further problems including the wires to the emergency brake.
That was the last thing I had fixed in 2.5 years and have done everything else myself.
I Love My Isata3

I had the same problem, used the same fix.
Reset the warning with a Code Reader.

SRS and Restraint Error with airbag light on
Each of these incidents should be reported to NHTSA. Any incident involving the air bag lights is definitely a safety issue NHTSA would be concerned about. They won’t know unless we tell them. It only takes 2 minutes. You need your year, make, model and VIN (easily found on your ins. card). Thanks. https://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/VehicleComplaint/

Yep that’s that problem. Wire under seat was cut. Repaired and added 1/2” drip tubing that won’t get pinched and cut again. Error message have cleared. Thanks for the help!
