Step

The main pivot bolt on the entry step broke at the thread to shoulder positon. Was able to order replacement from Lippert. I will let you know how the easyout of the threaded part goes.

Been there, done that. Twice.

Hardest part is remounting the steps single handed.

Used 2x4s, a dolly and a jack

Finished replacement of the broken pivot bolt. The treaded end of the bolt is tack welded to the bolt receiver. A little die grinding took care of that. Some penetrating oil and easy out took care of getting the bolt end removed. Used a small floor jack to support the step for removal and installation. All in all not a bad job, just takes a little time.

The bolts I ordered from Lippert were exactly the same as original.
