Sticking Storage compartment door latches 2015 Forester MBS

I have several door latches that do not open properly. The latch pull does not open the latch enough to unlock it. Has anybody had this problem and what was the solution? Also, I need to purchase a new latch assembly for the 2015 Forest River Forester.
Thanks for any help.

I think most of us do the 2 handed door open. Push door against the coach to take stress off the latch and then lift the lever, door opens. I did have 2 tighter latches that I unscrewed from the coach, disassembled, lubed internally with silicone spray and reassembled. Just keep the pivot screw inside latch loose. If the mechanism seems broken they are standard latches and should be easy to find online.

x2 Press the door against the coach first. Some of my latches are really tight but doors I frequently use get looser. I just think of the tight ones as better security.
