Suspension 2016 Solera 24WS (2401W)

Hi All. Hope everyone is enjoying some camping in their rigs this year. I am always in search of a better suspension ride. I have installed both front and rear Sumo bump stops and installed rear Koni FSR shocks at rear. Some of the bad roads out there are rough on the camper box. I have the factory installed Hellwig sway bar as well. Anybody else out there have good luck with any other suspension upgrades other than air bag systems?
I have seen that Super Springs also offers a set of steel helper springs for 3500 series with three leaf pack. Anyone install these before?

Well, let me start by saying that I don't know much about this topic!

But, that being said, I've installed the Hellwig bar and Sumo rear bump stops on my 24R. My intent was to stiffen up the ride and reduce sway induced by both road and wind conditions ... and I feel as though the changes have helped.

But a stiffer suspension also seems likely to result in a harsher ride. It seems possible that the Koni's might soften things a little as I think some shocks can respond differently depending on the type of hit they're taking. But even if that's the case, the beefier sway bar and bump stops are still going to transmit additional harshness to the chassis.

Bottom line - it seems to me that most changes that reduce sway and improve control are also likely to contribute to a harsher ride on bad road surfaces.

Maybe someone who really knows about this stuff can chime in???

Dave

You are correct, cant have couch ride and stiffness at same time.

The newest super car shocks have computer controlled ride , so on smooth roads the ride is less jarring and when needed it becomes a buckboard , but the ride computer is built into the vehicle.

Thinking of adding a Furrion 12v sound bar to the factory Furrion tv but have a couple questions: Would this addition significantly improve the sound coming from the tv/DVD player? As an option, could I use a 110v sound bar with a 12v tv
Any advantage in doing so? Any recommendations are welcome.
