wrong Sumo Spring instructions

installed front Sumo Springs today (rears last weekend) on my 2016 2400W and found the nut on both the OEM bump stop and the Sumo Spring is 13mm, not 10mm stated in the instructions. Hope this saves someone some time.

Hi Skip, did you buy these SSR-338-47 and SSF-106-40?

I just have the rear sumos. Let us know what difference the front ones make.

Yes that would be my next purchase? Washington State was hit with big storm. My Sprinter was shaking and rolling by crosswind when I took her through the storm last Friday. What I had heard Sumo will do the job. Can't wait to have them install.

front vs rear

Can't really say what difference having just the rears vs all four makes, Only drove around the block in between installing them.

My rear Sumos have helped the slow driving in to a service station roll but I think they have made only a slight difference in wind movement. I was on a step ladder next to the coach this week and pushed on the top edge. Very easy to make it move back and forth at the top.

I just took my first trip after having both the front and rears installed and have to say I was impressed. The main differences at low speeds are VERY noticeable, all that creaking and moaning the coach makes when going over bumps or uneven road surfaces has almost been completely eliminated. At higher speeds taking corners or making lane changes is also noticeably different. When parked I actually don't notice much of a difference at all. The coach still rocks the same as before when moving around inside which really surprised me. But for the money I like how much it has reduced the flex in the coach (which caused all that noise) at low speeds, I have to think that in the long run this is preserving it from so much wear and tear.

Now you just need to add the heavy duty Bilstiens, the stock shocks are way to soft for the weight on the rear axle.
