Finally picked up the Vengeance

I have been waiting a week and finally did the walk through today. I was able to bring it home for half an hour before the neighbors started giving me dirty looks. It is in storage waiting for this weekend for our first RV trip.

Why dirty looks? They jealous, or are you in one of those areas where you have to get permission to pass gas?

Oh...you'll really like the Vengeance. Built a cut above most others.

Just one of those areas. My friend down the road had his jet skis parked in the driveway for a couple days and the HOA was on him. I legally have 48 hours that I can leave it in the street, but doubt I will ever leave it that long.

Let them whine. If you have 48 hours, take it. That way you don't have to rush to pack and can get your fridge cooling down!

Only reason I don't take mine to my house is I nearly take out the street signs trying to make turns. The city ordinance here is 24 hours so screw the neighbors!

I love my Vengeance!

First I'll tell you that blue LED switch near the headboard is super bright at night. Plan on using a towel or something to cover that thing up when you sleep.

What's the inside look like? Mine seems to be different than most. I think it's an early 2016 model? I don't have the loft bed it's just storage cabinets and a wall to wall glass slider.

Check out the LED section for replacing the standard bulbs. The interior was just too dark for my liking so I upgraded the bulbs. This thread http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...ns-110309.html
These bulbs to make it short https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Have fun and ask questions when you want/need help.

Where I live they allow only 8 hours to park your rv in front of the house to load or unload it . Not much time @ all.

Is that a window on the garage passenger side? I have two windows on the driver side garage. Oh and what model is this one? I just now noticed the triple axle. Mine is a double axle.

It is a 377V. It has one window on the passenger side and one on the driver side in the garage. It might have two on the driver side. I hate not being able to park this thing at home!

very nice rig you have there. Let your neighbors look and be jealous that they don't have one. I would park that in front of my house for those 48 hours and then drive it around the block for an hour and park it back in front for another 48 hours. Once that rig leaves, that spot, your 48 hours reset. lol

Enjoy

I have to go look that model up now. For the most part it looks exactly like mine so I just assumed it was a 320A SS until I finally noticed the axle.

Forest River website has a pretty good picture(s) comparison of the 320 and 377. Select the "gallery" icon at: Vengeance Toy Haulers by Forest River RV

Nice looking Rig, matches the truck very good. Also looks good in front of your house. As a Licensed Contractor and Developer in California, this leads me to Develop a Community that ALLOWS RV parking at your home. We did it already for Boat owners with waterfront homes. No restrictions as the parking will be part of the lot design. My present neighborhood allows 72 hours, and some neighbors get "their panties in a bunch" if over the 72 hours. So to teach them a lesson, after 72 hours I towed down to get propane refilled. Got another 72 hour clock started. They did call the police. When they showed up the cop says "nice trailer". He then said we don't care too much about RV parking, only commercial trucks and trailers, then left. Since then no neighbor complaints-go figure. I store my Toy Hauler in an enclosed building, so in the sun for as little as needed.

Looks great! My neighborhood has those rules too. Only 1 lady mumbles but no one says anything. I'll bring it for 1 - 3 days then it will be gone for 1 day or 3 months before it is here again. The word got out if I hear anything about the 5er I'll take it away after 48 hours, then bring the boat for 48, then the 5er.... so best we all get along and see things my way as the 5er is only here maybe 10 -12 times a year.

You know the saying "every neighborhood has one"? I'm the one!

Nice Vengeance. I have a 2016 29V travel trailer Vengeance 2016 and love it! Down the road I'll probably upgrade to 5th wheel. Enjoy!

Had to fill it up to get ready for our first trip out this weekend. I can't tell how much room was left between the roof and the awning, but it seems close.
