Loading angle of 25th ramp

Just got home with the new toy hauler yesterday. Looking at the angle of the 7 foot loading ramp and it makes me a little nervous the first time I try and load up my 09 ultra classic. I know it has a beaver tail which will help but it sure looks pretty frigging steep.

Not sure if it is feasible for your specific setup but I know many people will raise the front of the trailer to assist in loading.

I can raise the tongue jack up as high as possible and see how she goes.

It shouldn't be a problem as long as you are on reasonably level terrain. I've loaded a Softtail Deluxe, a Heritage and a Road Glide Ultra in mine with plenty of clearance. The beaver tail is your friend and really does what it's designed for. Even my new TriGlide clears easily and I'm pretty sure it's lower than the Ultra. Only problem you might have is if you've lowered the mufflers (bagger style) there's a possibility of them dragging the ground as the bike transitions up at the bottom of the ramp.

Use a little caution at the start of loading because when the foot pegs are over the beginning of the ramp you might not be able to touch the ground/ramp for about 18" or so of forward movement. Just ride through it and you'll get foot contact fairly quickly.

Careful the first time. I had an issue with my bike bottoming out on the way in if I was sitting on the bike. Had to stand when I hit the top of ramp to take some weight off for clear ground clearance on way in.

I looked up the specs for models I have loaded in the 25V without any problem.

The RG Ultra is 101" long, 64" wheelbase and 4.7" ground clearance.
The TriGlide is 105" long, 65.7" wheelbase and 4.5" ground clearance.

Your '09 Ultra is 98" long, 63.5" wheelbase and 5.1" ground clearance. Since your bike is shorter overall and has more ground clearance than the others I don't think you will have any problem with ramp clearance at the top.
