loose electric motor on hitch

I have noticed since picking up our 2017 Vengeance 25V that when the electric hitch is raised all the way up the whole motor and top part will shift 3 to 4 inches to the left. It won't work unless I straighten the motor head straight again. There is three threaded holes on the sleeve that looks like they failed to install threaded bolts to stop the head from moving. I called the electric hitch company and they said they didn't know of any "stop bolts" that keep the top part from moving. Anybody else see this before or have an idea how to fix it? The company said it's not suppose to move at all and be pointing straight. The company said the only three bolts are the ones that attach to the trailer frame.

The LCI jack you have is notorious for failure and way underpowered for the weight of the 25V tongue. You should be able to get it replaced under warranty, and it will probably fail again.

Solve the problem by getting the 4,500 pound Husky jack. Ball bearing movement and electronic upper and lower limit switches. Like all jacks keep it covered when not in use to prevent water incursion.

The dealership refused at first to replace the underpowered jack which was defective. But after not backing down and being persistent with them they replaced it with a 5,000 lb. Model.
