That's been debated a few times. Some do. I don't. Seems a little tough on the generator (in my thinking) just to be able to run the AC before we get to the campground.

When I was racing, we only ran the genny at the races once we were set up and the generator never gave us one bit of problems for two hard years.

The unit has a Home Refrigerator so that is the reason I asked. It does have an 1000w invertor but I'm worried about the single battery. I do plan to add another battery in the next few weeks.

If the truck 7-pin supplies power to the camper, the truck will help keep the battery charged.

Get the fridge cold well before you leave. Fill it up full of cold food. It will stay cold for several hours with no power at all.

Hello everyone

I'm a newbie here. I bought a 2015 Vengeance SS 312A left over. Sure would like to see a sub-forum on these also.

I understand it will drain the battery on your truck rather quickly if not connected to another power supply, which makes sense to me. So I always unplug 7 pin if the truck is off for a period greater than an hour.

I'm liking some of the Vengeance haulers I'm seeing at NC dealerships but I see very little comments here. All those haulers from FR but no Vengeance section?
I agree! We just purchased a 2017 Vengeance 40D12
