Underbelly Removal on 311A13 Vengeance Rogue

Has anyone ever removed the corrugated plastic underbelly from the rear portion of their rig? If so, how hard was it? I have to get to an area just forward of where it ends. It is fastened to a metal crossmember by 6 self tapping screws, which seems like it would be difficult to get them out, because of limited space for a tool and hand space. Also there are some tight places where the plastic seems like it is pinched.

Have you given thought to just cutting a three sided hole in the coroplast in the area you need to work. When you are done with your work you can fasten it back in place with foil tape just a thought

Only problem I ever had was on my old Cyclone. It was less than two years old. The self-tapping screws were so rusted inside, half of them broke the heads off before they would back out.

Best of luck. In all honesty, I hate that stuff.

I found it not hard at all....I drove through a rain storm in the mountains and, apparently, part of the under belly had a gap and sucked up road water for 300 miles. When I got home, half the under belly was hanging down and the insulation was all torn out. It seems that the middle section is only held together with black tape. Should be able to remove that fairly easily....or just drive through a storm. 😄
