Vengeance 25V
I put a down payment on the Vengeance 25V Toyhauler today. Does anyone have any advise on this unit? We rode the Harley to the dealership today and loaded the bike to see how it fit. I'm new to trailering and this is my first RV. I will be pulling the unit with an 2010 Ford F150 Platnium with 5.4 with 3.73 rear.

What does the Hog weigh?
You will need to add that weight to the weight of the TT.
Then you will need to know what your gear is gonna weigh.

That would be it. The yellow tag on the dorr and on the front left side indicated that the dry weight was 5860. The General Manager at the dealership told me that my truck could pull the unit with no issues. If there was issues I could bring the unit back and he would give my money back.

I want to make sure this is the toy hauler I want. I've been looking at the Shockwave also. A little more money but it looks really nice. When I loaded my bike in the back of the vengenace, it took up the entired back. Not much room to more around.

It's very common for the dealer to tell you that. It happened to me too. I ended up buying a bigger truck.

vengeance 25 v
I bought one the first week of August, and have hauled my Road King from Buffalo- Ashville- Bristol and home with no problem. I am using a 2009 f150,5.4 with 3.73 axle. The truck knows there is something behind it and mileage is around 8mpg, but it hauls it. We have also hauled two atvs 400 miles and worked fine, especially with no large hills. We have 3500 miles on so far this year and love it.

Thank you for the feedback. I've been all week that my truck woild have an hard time pulling yhe 25V. You did make me feel better about it. My truck is an 2010 F150 with an 5.4 and 3.55 gears. Trailer life site stated that it would pull 9800lbs. I want to be safe and not tear up my truck. Thanks again.

Do you have any idea what your cargo carrying capacity is for your F150? It should be on a yellow + white sticker saying, "the maximum amount of occupants and cargo is X lbs."?
That's a lot of tongue weight. I know some will go down when you load the Harley in, but still.
What else are you loading in the truck? You and the wife? Any kids?
It may be worthwhile going through the math exercise to find out how much tongue weight your truck can handle and seeing if this camper will fall within that.

Not sure about the cago weight of the truck. It's just me and the wife. The Harley weights about an 1000lbs. I've been torn between the Work and Play 21VFB and the Vengeance 25v. They both weight about the same. I like the WAP but the wife likes the room in the Vengeance. I want the best product for the money.

I puller the 25 V from the dealership with my F150 and knew it was back there. I was worried that I was going to put a lot of wear on the truck pulling that much weight. I went ahead and purchase an 2014 Ram 2500 with the Cummins diesel. I pulled this past weekend and it did great. I was getting around 13.7 mpg. It should get better after the truck is broke in good. Thanks for all the advice.

We went on our first trip this weekend. The Ram 2500 pulled the 25V with no issues. It's a pulling machine. I did not take the Harley this trip. Wanted to get all the bugs out prior to hauling the bike. The trip went very well. The camp ground was not great but meeting friends at this central location was good. Now I need to figure out what I need go do for cold weather. Thjs site has a lot of good information.

i have a 25v and i when i bought it i had a dodge ram 1500 wich has a higher towing rating than the ford f150. my dodge worked hard to pull it especially with the bike in it.. 2003 fatboy 930 lbs plus all our gear. the 25v i a little too much for a 1500. you might want to upgrade ur truck or test that salesmans word.. i love my vengeance so i upgraded my truck..

Tongue weight: I know on mine where the gear weight goes you'll take some off of the tongue. It's a percentage thing. On my toy hauler the back of the camper is 50% of the distance from axle to back that axle to tongue is. So 50% of the weight I put back there comes off of the front. Toy haulers seem to be a little tongue heavy empty but it's kinda expected I guess since you are going to haul something, probably.
Tow vehicle: I have a 25RR and with it loaded (all gear in containers in back to take weight off of tongue) I'm pulling probably 5,500 lbs. I DEFINITELY know it's back there behind my Ford F-150 and pulling big hills (like in mountains) involves much pain and suffering on my soul if I'm trying to pull at highway speeds (ain't gonna happen, enjoy passing me). On secondary roads I don't have to plow the air as hard (going slower) and it's not so big a deal. I'd say get a Ford F-250 or Dodge 2500/Chevy 2500 if you plan on pulling some serious hills.
