Try Costco or Sams club. In canada they least expensive. 21.00 for 30 lbs.

Looks good Jenner. Time for a deck . By the looks of that unit, you bought a good one from the start. Nice that they moved it for you too. We are planning on getting up there Friday. Hopefully it dries out good this week and we will be able to get it in it's final resting place. I'll get some pictures as soon as we are done as well. Have a fun season.

Thanks! We love the camper. Lots of landscaping to be done. We are also bringing in crusher dust but have to weight until the weight limits are off the roads. Good luck trav...hopefully you can get set. It was snowing up there this morning!! Our campground still has one snow pile left!

I am not a member of Costco or Sams Club. I didn't think $54 for both was too bad.

We de-winterized this past weekend....I am absolutely worried sick that it was too soon. Will it be okay if temps dip below freezing a night or two? I think they did last night but the rest of the week looks okay.

Hi everyone! What a great Memorial weekend. The weather was perfect! Our site is coming along and this was our first extended weekend staying 5 nights. Loved it. I have another question. We have the 300 gallon holding tank all hooked up. How do we know when that tank is full and ready to be pumped?

The weather was perfect for us too this weekend. We left about 3:00 and got a little rain on the way home. As for your septic tank, I've seen some with a little red flag that will trip and pop up when the level reaches a certain point. The other way it to unscrew the pump out plug and take a look inside to see how full it is.

Here is what I plan to do for my 300 gallon tank. I let my on board tanks get full. Then I pull the handles (I got two grey to my one black so the first grey I just pulled but then waited until black was full to pull second time). My on board tanks are about 40 gallons each. So, I'll pull 7 tanks worth (I keep track on my iPhone) and then look in the pump out plug like Wiscampsin suggested and see if I can fit some more.

We are pretty close to taking the plunge and going permanent this summer. I'm assuming all the same rules apply to black water tanks going into our 110 gallon holding tank. You still must treat the water in the black tanks and let the camper holding tank fill before emptying into the external tank. Right??

We've been using the Geo Method (Google or Bing it if you've never heard of it) in our black tank for years with good results. Be aware that some campgrounds don't allow formaldehyde tank treatments. Yup, let the black tank fill, dump it first, then the grey tank(s) to flush the hose.

Thanks. I've used the Geo Method in the past and will most likely continue if we make this switch.
