Yup, our Hershey bars and DW's wine have designated places in the fridge.

We have an outdoor kitchen with a fridge so we will definitely keep beverages in there! Good tip on the chocolates! Travyp ~ have you been up to Lakewood at all yet? Are they getting more snow?????

Yeah they got some more today. There is a webcam you can watch on wunderground. It's supposed to get nice this coming week. Still hoping for move in two weekends. With temps in the 60s this should be possible. I have not gone up yet. We were going to go up this weekend to clear leaves but the snow killed that idea.

Our campground hasn't even announced any upcoming events yet. Last year the schedule was up for opening weekend the first weekend in May. Nothing yet. I asked the CG owner when he wanted us to move our camper (it is currently on a temp site) and he said it will depend on the weather. Blah! I have stuff all over my house ready to move into my home away from home!!!

Yeah. If you hit heavens up north Facebook page (don't need a Facebook account to see it) you will see the pictures from Sunday and almost all the snow was gone so it is very close for us. A week in the 50s and 60s will clean it up nicely.

Does Heavens up North officially open May 1st? Do you do any 4-wheeling on the trails up there?

Technically it is open year round. They close the roads to vehicles when everything is wet from the thaw but you can walk in anytime you want. Then water just depends on the frost. So they are hoping to "open" in two weekends.

We had snow at the campground Monday night but it all melted by yesterday. Hopefully that'll be the last of it.

We had snow and lows in the low twenties earlier this week but yesterday it was 65 degrees. Going back to our site tonight for our second weekend. The weather is going to be nice. The resort is having an Easter brunch for $5 then I think we will go home to have Easter dinner. DW didn't want to take everything down to the Resort then have to bring it all back home after. Don't blame her, anyway who wants to have to pack up and go home after a big dinner? That's nap time.

Yeah I saw that. It's ok. It'll melt by next weekend (I Hope). That's what I'm planning for anyway. Supposed to be nice now so it should go away quickly.

For those of you that live in a cold weather climate...like WI...when do you de-winterize? I know some of you have already been at your camper...did you de-winterize already?
I think we will finally make it up to the camper for a night this weekend!!

Yours is dry? Our roads are still soaked so likely won't get up until next weekend. I'm still undecided on whether to dewinterize yet. Still a few freezing nights.

No we are not dry at all...we will likely have to walk in but our camper is on the first road so it shouldn't be too bad and the bathrooms are open! We still have our camper on a temp site and we are not allowed to move it yet due to the mucky roads. The snow is almost gone....almost May and still have snow...how depressing.

We dewinterized last Thursday. Water was supposed to be on last Tuesday but owners didn't want to chance it so they waited one more day. Can't say as I blame them as it did get down to the upper 20's Tuesday night.

You are pretty far south of us though. Even in the fox cities where I am at is usually 5 to 10 degrees warmer than Lakewood. Maybe when the campground turns on water you should de-winterize. Sounds like a solid plan to me.
