We are currently in Northern Illinois and pay $2000/year for our base cost plus a monthly electric bill. We've found that's about average for the different CGs around us. Some are a little more, some are a little less.

My parents were seasonal at a different CG (they are moving to our CG now) and they just released their rates for the upcoming year. It's $3300 for returning seasonals and $3900 for new.

We heard through the grapevine that there was a mass exodus over the weekend. We took a drive around and saw 11 trailers with for sale signs on them. My parents are leaving and we know of at least 2 other couples that are leaving as well.

Maybe it's just me, but when you raise your seasonal rates so high that 16 new sites open up overnight, you might just be a bit over-priced.

That being said, I'm curious what other FRF members are paying for seasonal sites.

If you don't mind me asking where is the camp grounds? Just wondering because I grew up in the area!

It used to be called Paradise Park. Now it's called Northwoods RV Resort. It's in Garden Prairie Illinois.

Depends on how much it takes to make you happy. Some folks are very 'needy', others are able to entertain themselves without the 'expensive' addons.

$3750 for an annual site in Casa Grande, AZ. Sites are gravel with a concrete pad and are about 40 x 50. About 3 miles to town with Hospital, WalMart and tons of shopping/restaurants. Sadly, Sam's just closed.

R/V Park cost

In Reno, Nv. Basic gravel, no anything!!! $400 per mo with garbage water+sewer, Electric is metered per mo.
No club house, no cable. Fire house across the street---ALL NIGHT!!
If you need a place for the winter, they have open spots. One good thing, in the middle of town near everything. One block from Virginia St. No pets--

Have a good winter--Broncorick

In Myrtle Beach it is $6500 a month yes a month and $60,000 to $80,000 for the right to the site.......... and......All 3500 sites are nearly full. You can put a camper or build a house on the site but you do not own the land. You pay electric and pay taxes. Did I mention they have very few sites available. So we camp and stay at the camp sites.............. Just under $100 a night in the summer and yes they are book for next summer.

Ours is $1800 plus elec - free water - we have our own Dish satellite

On a riverfront site in the heart of Mohican area of Loudonville Ohio - canoe capital of the state - daily parade of water entertainment ....weekends are even better

We do our own lawn maint and can install decks and patios as desired - plastic sheds ok and NO golf carts - CG has pool and big Halloween party

Honey wagon $15 per as needed at your expense

Off river is $1600 - open 4/1 thru 10/31 for seasonals

CG open 5/1 to 10/15 for weekenders

FYI - owner just purchsed MH park across street to flip to seasonal only for RV - those sites will be FHU at $2200 - pool and 55+ only

I'd like to know more about this campground, as I plan to start wintering in FL and New Port Richey is an attractive area to me

I own a park model in Yuma, AZ...

RV resort with two pools and hot tubs (anyone who says these are not needed is nuts ), game rooms, pool room w/ 3 tables, workout room, all of that stuff is a little over $4000/per year plus $20/month to store my 5'ver in the secured lot about 300 yards from my home.

Close to town with three Walmarts and every restaurant you can imagine, RV stores and dealerships everywhere

We hit the pool twice yesterday...

And you just can't beat the sunsets, either!

Love it down here!

And, today...a 2-hour drive to San Diego to hit the beach!

We're on a waiting list to get into a lease at Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park. Annual rate is $3750 plus metered electric. Everything else is supplied: potable water, non-potable for watering, sewer, firewood. It's right next door to the golf course, clubhouse and marina.

We've been doing the seasonal thing there for a few years, where you reapply each year. Powered was $2200 until the park dropped those sites and changed them to nightly. We've done unpowered for a couple of years now and that's $1100. We spent some money on a good solar system and only ran the generator for A/C The seasonal sites do not have sewer or water hookups on each site. Just run a hose to refill and dump into a tote to haul to the sewer dump.

We are also in Northern Illinois, we pay 2350 plus electric. I have been at that one in Garden Prairie. We liked it, but had wanted to find a seasonal further away. We are about 1-hour drive to our spot.

We pay $930 plus electric for the season including sewer and water. Sure, the water is a little eggy, but it works.

Question? Who in their right mind wants to spend summers in sunny Florida. We head to the mountains for the cooler weather. We live in Louisiana and the temps are about the same as Florida.
We will be seasonal this coming season, beginning next April, in The Great Smokey Mountains where the weather is much cooler in the summer.

$670 per year for permanent. Open to permanents 4/15-10/15. Electric is metered, water is free, no wifi, mowing is done by CG. Tanks dumped twice a month - extra dumps are $10. Some sites are FHU. 7 cabins on the pond are typically booked a year in advance. 2 nice sized gravel pits. Most lots are large pull through with big slabs. Nothing fancy like pools, clubhouses, etc., but we like the friendly "small town" feel of the place, even though it's a bit run down now. Everybody knows everybody. 2 miles from a small town of 2000 residents - bar, grocery, restaurants. 35 miles from the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area. 4.5 hour drive from our home near Iwritecode, but worth it to be with old friends and family.
