month stay

Not sure if this the right area, but here goes.We are planning a trip to the New Orleans area for January of 18.Area resonable rates for a month long stay.with full hook ups.

A fair rule of thumb is a months stay will be about 16-18 days worth of the overnight rate.

Not so at Mardi Grass time or football or Nascar race locations tho.

Would I be eligible as a vietname era vet? Separated after 4 years but not retired from military....

Nope, you need to be retired or a disabled due to service vet.

Not me brother, not just to use a military camp. I’m happy I’m came away in one piece and in good health. Most of those I knew who were exposed to AO are dead. The one vet I know who was exposed and is still alive is a physical mess. I’m turning 72 and in relatively good health so I happily pay the rate for commercial RV parks.

I also didn’t have the correct attitude for doing 20 years.

Depending on the state you can get military stamp added to your drivers license also. Had mine added in Ohio - 12 1/2 years Navy. Makes it easier when shopping at Home Depot etc that give discount all year around for vets.
