Their loss. That's worth every bit of $125.

If we do something like that at our site it becomes the campgrounds property. We wouldn't be able to pull it out and move it.

The owners never questioned me, I didn't press my luck by trying to take the 4yrds of dirt I added to level the area off

Going Seasonal This Year

My wife and I decided to get a seasonal lot at a RV Resort that we frequently camped at last year. We got lucky and were able to get a very nice lot that was vacated by a couple that were getting out of camping because of either age or health. They were on that lot since the campground was in its early years.

We are in S.W. Michigan and can't wait to get on it but I'm sure that won't happen when the resort opens on April 1st. But as soon as the snow melts we'll be on site.

We had boat that we docked at a marina in Ohio on Lake Erie so we are familiar with the "seasonal lifestyle" and are looking forward to meeting new people and having a nice relaxing/fun summer in our new neighborhood..

Wow Cool! We're in Mid-South Michigan. Says Jackson, but really by Grass Lake. Greenwood Acres Family Campground

I concur. Bricks plus labor...easily worth more than that.

We are from the Grand Rapids area. Our seasonal site is at Hidden Ridge Rv Resort which is located just off Rt 131 at the Gunn Lake Exit. Hidden Ridge. Can't wait for the weather to warm up and for the snow to melt. We had 115 in. Of the white stuff this year.

Your campground looks very nice also. Lots of things to do.

It's official!

Well we put the camper on our new permanent site this weekend. The site is perfect! All went well with setup. We like the new neighbors. But BOY do we need a golf cart... and for it to stop snowing already! Still all in all I think we made the right choice. We have deer that walk through every AM and PM, it's quiet, the leaves will be amazing in the fall, there's tons of stuff to do (or not do) every weekend, and it's so nice to not have to get up early, clean, hook up, and go home.

Awesome, take some pictures of the new setup. We still have a couple feet of snow so we won't be setting up for a few weeks yet.

That's the best part kkhslh. Pack up any leftovers to take home, pack up dirty laundry, and don't forget to lock the door on the way out! We've made lots of new friends when camping, even some that we get together with in the off season. This will be our 4th season here and we've settled in nicely. We love it! And yes, we just bought a golf cart this past weekend. We are in a rather large campground and although I do walk a good part of it with the dog, it will be nice to visit other friends we have made through out the park.

Thanks. There is a lot to do. You campground is very nice!! I'll have to drive through next time I'm out on the West End. Perhaps even bring a tent and stay a w/e if they allow it. We don't pull our trailer off b/c of the deck. It's leveled to the door perfectly. Try repeating that and not skimming the elevated deck backing back in.

Bodz., I can certainly understand your hesitation to move your camper . I wouldn't want to do it. But by all means come on over . Unfortunately tents are not allowed but they do have some very nice cabins and are getting more for this coming season. There are lots of neat little towns along the Lake Michigan shoreline to visit and the beaches are great. And then there's the casino one exit north.

Going to take a ride tomorrow to see how much snow they still have up in Lakewood. I'm hoping I don't see much.

We're headed up tomorrow and bringing along a few things, blow the leaves, hook up the electric, and maybe put out the slides. Water gets turned on April 15th.
