2 cotton balls in a well washed/dried yogurt cup, a few drops on each cotton ball. I get the peppermint oil from a local health foods place. I place 4 cups in our garage/basement and 3 in the camper.

Sounds like a little bit of peppermint oil goes a long way.
I picked up some 100% pep oil at walyworld.

How strong is the smell of peppermint in the spring?

It smells good, not overpowering at all. Nothing like the lingering smell of mothballs that require a couple days to air out.

I go up once a month. Probably not often enough but if everything checks out ok then I'm happy.

I go to the CG in Dec for deer season, and then not again until we open up in the spring.

My wife and I are all in. After much discussion we decided on a TT and a seasonal site. We found a resort like CG in Lancaster PA which is about 25 minutes from the house. Were empty nesters (4 kids through college) and are really looking for some down time. Love the thread and have spent countless hours on varuios threads and you tube to prepare for this chapter in our lives. Thanks for all the info that is shared as it has been so valuable to a couple of newbies like us.

1st timers - thought about a cabin in the Poconos for a while but then decided on a TT. Lot to learn but were chipping away at it. Look forward to meeting you.

you could not have chosen a better campground especially if you have kids...lots to do, well run & safe. We've been rv'n for 5 yrs now & decided to give seasonal a try...only an hour or so away from home.
