They do have a nice view from the top of the hill though. But don't think I'd sleep well at night.

What a kewl picture! It looks like a condo complex made of vintage RVS.
Is this a place people really live, or a large piece of art work? It can't be a coincidence all are vintage and different colors. Unless they were all new at roughly the same time a long time ago. The blue one on 3rd floor looks like it's set up to be a teeter totter though, as is the grey one on top. Yikes.

I saw a picture of your camper when I did an internet search of images for seasonal camping....was looking for lot/landscaping ideas....

Have to click "Show more results" at the bottom and yours will be next page, center, next to a KOA logo. Can you find it?

It is a very cool picture and the story behind it is neat, too. Basically, its a theater set from an open air theater in Amsterdam. (I love Google Images)

Really, I just did the same search and did not see it. I am on my iPad, not sure if that would matter. Interesting...was it tied to this forum when you clicked on it?

Getting ready to leave for full time summer camping on Tuesday. Husband tweaked and shined the golf cart today. He restored it from a stinky, smokey, junky, tore up, peeling mess. It's over 30 years old. Honda G1. In the first pic, he drove it to the local burger drive-in, but they're not open till May 1. Getting excited!!

Sweet ride would be fun to ride golf carts in campground. Our campground doesn't allow campers to have them. Although in their defense the way some of them drink it may be a good thing lol. Our campground isn't that large you can walk from one end to the other in about 15 minutes if that. It is a family campground and there are kids everywhere and they even have a 5 mph speed limit for autos. Our campground opens May first also and we are chomping at the bit to get up there. All the totes of supplies are piled in the family, living room, and garage waiting to get loaded in the truck. My relatives think I'm nuts but I hate to forget anything because it's quite a hike to get to a store and I also tend to spend more than I should because they have better meat, doughnuts, and other baked goods than we can get here.

Camper made it out to the seasonal site last weekend, and I got in my first 8 nights of camping this year! The wife was able to stay out from Sat - Tues, and then come back out Fri-Sun, and I got to spend some time in the woods talking turkey. Some people actually call it turkey hunting, but I'm being realistic, since talking to them, and watching them in the distance was about all that happened this trip. Had some great weather most of the trip, but there were a few cold, rainy days, but it was nice to set around the camp fire most nights, and empty a few beer bottles!

The camper will stay on site all year now, even though the season ends on Oct 31st. But the campground is open year round, so if we have the desire to do a little winter dry camping all we have to do is show up. Also plan to pull it off for a Florida trip in June for a week. Gonna take a casual trip down to visit the granddaughter. We have a site reserved for Mon-Fri at Hilsborough River State Park near Tampa. Should be fun, and it will be our first long distance camping trip in a camper (have had a couple when we tent camped).

Campground had the Seasonal Camper Welcome Back meal on Saturday. Sloppy Joes, beans, chips, lot's of pasta and fruit salads, and a huge sheet cake. Nice to see old friends again and welcome some new faces.
