well saturday will be the first time the little spends a night at camp. been busy getting things ready her pack and play replaces the dinning area. my mom loved yellow roses and so does my wife so they get to share a new yellow rose plant for mothers day. the outdoor kitchen is commong along nicely. one more table frame to build then make some concrete counter tops. then to find a used sink and make an outside area to do dishes off the back of the camper so i can tie into the low point drains for the sink and be able to use my dry well for waste water

Was in the Dells over the weekend, drove past several private campgrounds and all were open. Busy too.

State Park campgrounds were closed.

Our seasonal in Northern IL has opened for seasonal lease holders only. For now all public places will remain closed, pool, bath-house, pavilions, play grounds, dog park, camp store.

What county is yours in?

I know Boone County campgrounds are open. People at my campground keep blaming the governor but it's actually the county officials making the decision to not allow us to open.

Lake County, they got with a lawyer and had an additional contract for us to sign. Basically they are not operating as a campground, They are letting us have access to our personal residences that we have a lease agreement for. We agree to use it to shelter in place and continue to social distance and that we will not throw parties etc. So we cannot have all the kids over for big cook-out on memorial day like in years past. Works for us, we're waiting for Riverstone to be built to start full-timing. Now we can get out of the S&B and have a place to live until we get the new 5ver.

Yeah most everything is trying to open Sauk county hasn’t set any guidelines and sent answering many questions. I was called back to work at Christmas mountain and told to start getting pools ready but not to order chemicals because Sauk county hasn’t set guidelines. Yesterday we had 15 condo guests 30 rv campsites and 3 tent sites being used

Yes! May 29th at 10:30AM was when we were finally allowed in.

Apparently after a visit by the county health inspector for some reason.

Seasonal campers only. No weekend campers and no guests. Also no swimming in the lake, no bathrooms/shower houses. No camp store. No activities other than the ones we can do on our own sites.

But we are camping. So it's not perfect but it's better than nothing.

Were downstate a little bit and our campground is doing weekenders, just opened the bathrooms. No activities as of right now though. And not planning to open the pool at all this year

That's interesting. Everyone around here is always so quick to blame the IL governor but apparently he is just setting the guidelines. It's up to each individual county to interpret those guidelines.

Which is why we have different things allowed at different CGs even though they are all in the same state.

Yeah, Woodford County, where our campground is, basically said they weren’t going to enforce anything
