No more poles until the last of Mar provided I get material in FL. Last set went to Salisbury, NC this afternoon. Hope you like them Trent & Marcy.

Only things left are the attaching brackets and step supports.

Awning Pole Brackets

Anyone wanting to make their own awning poles over the winter, I have the upper brackets ready to ship. The brackets will accept up to 1-1/8" wide poles. You just have until 27Nov to get them shipped as we leave for FL 29Nov and won't be back until mid Mar. PM for details.

Awning Pole Brackets

Have 5 sets of upper and lower brackets ready to ship. Get them before Thanksgiving or you will have to wait until mid Mar.

PM for details.

Send OldCoot a PM. You still may be in time before he hits the road to Florida on Friday.

I have plenty of the upper and lower attaching brackets ready to ship, but no poles at the time.

I can wait. Fiver is winterized and put away for winter. I would like to get some by next March. If that is possible. I am about 4 years away from retirement and looking forward to some of that "snowbirding" lifestyle myself. Thanks for the feedback and have a safe trip.

Aluminum awning poles

We are in FL and I'm getting the prices for the alum tubing to fabricate poles. I need some estimate of whomever wants a set of poles. Please pm me if you are interested as this is the time to get your order in. Will start fabrication sometime in late Mar. Bottom line, you snooze, you loose for the upcoming camping season.

I will place the order today for enough alum tubing material to build 25 sets of poles. Already have 8 sets spoken for as of today. So, if you want one of the remaining 17 sets, pm me and I will give you my email address so I can put you on the list.

NOTICE:
I know I have said several times before that I will not make anymore poles and TOWTA and I have reached a decision that when these 25 sets are gone, D&D Chassis is closing down all operations of all items. We are discussing the possibility of selling the camper and just quit camping altogether. May buy a small house in FL and just drive the car down a couple of times a year.

Picked up the 100 pcs of alum tubing to make the 25 sets of awning tie down pole this morning. Should start fabrication by mid - late Mar. Less than 10 sets left that are not spoken for.

Got (50) alum 2-1/4" discs cut, now have to deburr the edges and make a weld fixture to position them on the outer (bottom) poles so when oldest son gets home a week from this Thurs he can tig weld them on.

I think there are only 9 or 10 sets not spoken for at this time. Should be able to start shipping as soon as he gets home and he gets the welding done. Hopefully I'll have the inner poles drilled, etc.

I have 2 sets being I have 2 awnings, They work great and stow and easy to deploy, I recommend OC's over anybody's or any thing else. I do not worry anymore about wind or rain. Now is the chance to get a great add on for these filmize power awnings. The "old goat" did good on this mod..... A little hint if you want them to look like chrome, just spay a cleaner on them wipe it off and use Mothers Polish. in an hour you have chrome looking poles.
