Decision Made: 38MB

Well, we made our decision. We're going with the 38MB. Pretty much loading it up. One option I'm not sure on is the rear bedroom heater, which I guess is put in the rear, driver's side corner. We are opting out of the fireplace in the bedroom in lieu of a larger dresser. The question I have is, how big is the drawer I will be losing where they put the heater (driver's side rear wall)? I've given up trying to find an MB around here to measure. While I usually try to get all the options I can when I buy something, I'm wondering if the heater is a mistake since we are snowbirds anyway (saying that, we're home in Chicago in the middle of April today and it's 33 and snowing!) since I'm trying to maximize storage space. Any input would be appreciated. Pulling the trigger Wednesday.

We have the 38MB and the heater in the bedroom is located to the right of where the washer / dryers is, now I see they added a cabinet door there for storage also so I would imagine it would be located under that. Smart choice not getting the fireplace, it makes for a large two shelf cabinet area.

dbler, do you have the wall heater? If not, how big is that cabinet that it replaces? I would rarely use the heater (although you never know) and would hate to lose any storage space if it is worthwhile storage.

Yes we have the Cadet wall heater, I do not think at the time we purchased they were doing a cabinet in the wall next to the w/d but think they can fit both. There is a shelf next to our w/d that you basically can not use. The heater is a better choice then the fireplace, more storage that way.
