Microwave Oven ?

Hi Folks,

We are slowly checking all the systems in our new rig and I have a question. All the brochures we have list a convection microwave oven as standard. Well ours turns out to be just an LG microwave, not convection. What came in your units? Looks like we will be going back to CW Tampa to get the correct oven if thatís what is supposed to come with it.

Thanks,

Pete

Before you waste your time, please do yourself a big favor. READ the fine print on the last page. It will say something to the effect, everything is subject to change with no warning.

While I don't have my Riverstone yet, my neighbor here in Florida does. He too got a regular microwave from his dealer in Michigan. Installed in error, they are replacing it with a micro/convection at no cost. No explanation on how or why it occurred.

Hello Rusty,

Thanks again for your help.

You mentioned you don’t have your RiverStone yet, just curious which model are you interested in? My DW and I looked at just about every 5er model and floor plan within 250 miles of home and we kept coming back to the RiverStone line. So far we are happy we did.

Update,

I confirmed with Tom Ewing from RiverStone that our coach is supposed to have a convection microwave oven. Apparently their vendor shipped some wrong units a while back and they were installed by mistake. Supposedly all dealers were notified and sent the correct ovens. Now just need to take it back to the dealer on the way to our new home location.

Thanks,

Pete

Pete, glad you're having a happy ending regarding your oven/microwave. I want the 38MB. The wife is looking at possibly a regular Riverstone floor plan and then having the factory add all the Legacy options to it (if they'll do it). We will be calling the factory for a tour, and hopefully see some of the models we're interested in when we head north in April, if in fact they have some on site. I have yet to actually walk into a 38MB. Don't want to drop that kind of coin without tire kicking.
