No hot water to kitchen sink in 38MB

We have a 2018 Riverstone legacy 38mb with a tankless hot water heater. We usually have to fill the fresh water tank and turn on the pump to have enough pressure to have hot water in the bathroom. But I donít get hot water to the kitchen sink, even when the Hot Water panel in the bathroom reads 122 degrees. There have been a few times when I have had lukewarm water at the kitchen sink but not lately. Any suggestions?

You are not getting enough flow through your kitchen faucet to trigger the flow sensor in your tankless water heater. You need to increase the flow at the faucet.

Remove all water restrictors from your kitchen faucet. You can find them in several places, and many kitchen faucets have more than one. You can find them in the aerator, at any connection on the hose that leads to your spout (if you have a pull-out head) and other places ó it all depends on the type of faucet.

Just a crazy thought but have you checked the water manifold? Maybe the valve is off by mistake or somehow got bumped to the off position.

I kind of figured that but hey you never know, as my daddy use to say, start with the simple things first, but you know I never listened

Check what Nomad suggested. When we did the PDI on our 2018 38FB2 we had hot water everywhere but the kitchen sink. The tech removed the flow restrictor water saver insert and the problem was solved. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestions. We took the faucet apart but couldnít find a restrictor. We are taking it in for warranty work in a few weeks and will ask them to remove it then. We did find that our water regulator was set too low and adjusting that helped. We can get hot water now but pressure is still low at the kitchen sink. Hoping that removing the restrictor will help.

Is your issue the exactly the same?
Do you have a tankless water heater?
Did you try the suggestions posted in this thread?

I see this is only your 3rd post... Welcome!

If your issues are not exactly those of what is described in this thread,I suggest you create a new post as other posters may not see your query. You will get a lot more help finding a cure if you create your own post.
