They are listing on RV Trader for $99K and I know our local dealer is selling them for less than that.

Forest River can be confusing sometimes. It was stated at one time that one of the reasons the Trilogy by Dynamax was discontinued was because FR wanted to maintain the Cardinal as its flagship. Now they release the Riverstone which is a very nice looking upscale unit with a lot of similarities to the Trilogy.

Yup, that's what we were told in 2014 as well.

Indeed. My understanding is FR is going after the Mobile Suite/Heartland brands

I thought FR would have learned by now that membrane roofs, wood floors, and pink fiberglass insulation is NOT the way to go. It's hard for me to believe they can sell this unit with those cheap products used in the construction.
Hopefully, they will do a better engineering job and not run the wiring harness, water lines, and propane hose right in front of the wheels where they will be ripped out when a tire blows as it's done on mine TWICE. Just one design flaw that needs to be addressed. But the wood floors!!! Please. Future water damage for sure. IMHO and personal experience.

In this price category especially, a composite floor should be standard. They are strong, lightweight and will never rot. Water leaks are a common RV reality and people who buy expensive rigs often sell their homes to full time in a unit like this and deserve a product truly built to last. Wood and wool is outdated and is a recipe for mold and rot once wet. There are better materials now available.
I posted a section view of a composite floor. It is 2" thick composite material with a fiberglass layer top and bottom. Really nice stuff!

Turbs. The floor of my Aviator is a honeycombed composite material about 2" thick and is much stronger and more flexible than wood or metal, and impervious to water. Water damage seems to be a major problem in RVs whether from structural leaks or internal [plumbing] leaks, neither of which will have any effect on this floor. It's solid as a rock and easy to work with and modify if you need to go through it or attach something to it. To me, the floor, 5" slab styrofoam wall and ceiling insulation, and aluminum/thick fiberglass shell are the things that sold me over any other units we considered. The cabinets are also composite. No wood! The tires suck!

I would also worry about quality just from watching the workers literally running to assemble the unit. Putting together anything at that speed will cause problems. I'll also bet that they only spot weld the aluminum frame members together and not full welds as needed in major structural areas. Dabs do not stay together, nor do brads into aluminum.

It did seem they were running fast in that assembly video. But remember they said the Riverwood takes a full 2 weeks to build. Imagine how fast they must move when building "regular" trailers. They stated those only take 2 days!

That video is an exact copy of the video for Cedar Creek fifth wheels.

It takes me two days to put together a Rubix cube.

Never could figure those cubes out no matter how many days I had. Was much easier to rearrange the colored stickers! Does anybody know if these workers get paid by the camper or by the hour? I just can't imagine working at a pace like that day in and day out especially if being paid by the hour. I've never seen any other industry workers run like that. You would be kicked out of a construction site if you ran like that. Too dangerous. I would think the burn out and the injury rate would be high.

Is it just me or is the entry door not covered by an awning?

Dw and I just spent the day comparing the Riverstone with the Landmark, Redwood and the Luxe. We went back to the Riverstone and like it much better.
