Slide Out Tray for Basement

Has anyone installed a slide out tray in their basement? Since I'll have the mini-fridge, thinking about getting one that would slide out towards driver's side. Maybe 1/2 or 3/4 basement length due to mini-fridge on passenger side. Pros/Cons? Never had one in my other 5'er. Looks convenient.

Except, there is the compartment with the hydraulic pump and reservoir as well as the brake actuator under the floor, assuming it is the same in all RiverStone. I don't think it'd be wise to install rails over top of it and block the access.

I installed a Morryde slide out tray on the door side of our 38fb legacy. I opted not to do the full slide through and did one that is 52 inches wide by 60 inches deep. It makes access to the center area really easy. Install was simple and love it so far.

Din't know about the pump access, since I'm only working off of videos and pictures. Maybe I can get a narrower one and do what jacgec did. Thanks.

By installing from the right side I have about 36 inches of space left on the drivers side what worked out great for me because that is where I keep the hose reel, tools etc.. It also allows access to the hydraulic pump, brake actuator and water manifold.
Enjoy your new rig!!

Perfect. Looks great. Just screws to the floor?
PS. Looks like I I'm getting the same color unit as yours (Merlot)!

Good choice on the paint job!! It’s a beauty!

It bolted in with 4 lag bolts. I had to shim it up about an inch so the drawer would clear the door frame.

It weighs about 150 lbs so an extra pair of hands to get it in place is helpful but I was able to install it by myself.

It sure beats crawling in there to get the stuff in the middle.
